PREP FOOTBALL UPDATE: Neah Bay rallies late to beat Lummi; will play for state championship Michael Carman• Sat Nov 26th, 2016 7:09pm• Sports EVERETT — Rwehabura Munyagi Jr. connected with Kenrick Doherty Jr. on a go-ahead 31-yard touchdown pass with less than four minutes remaining as Neah Bay capped a fourth-quarter comeback to beat rival Lummi 28-22 in the Class 1B state semifinals at Everett Memorial Stadium on Saturday night.
The Red Devils (10-0) will face Odessa-Harrington (12-0), a 42-40 winner over Sunnyside Christian n the other semifinal, for the 1B state championship in the Tacoma Dome at 4 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3.
Neah Bay (10-1) trailed 22-14 entering the fourth quarter Saturday against the Blackhawks, but scored on a 2-yard TD run by Cameron Buzzell and Munyagi followed with a successful two-point conversion rush to tie the game at 22-apiece with less than nine minutes to play.
After a getting the ball back, Munyagi hit Doherty for what proved to be the game winner.

Game summary
Gavin Elder ran the ball 22 times for Odessa-Harrington, bringing in 140 yards and three touchdowns to help his team to a 42-40 semifinal victory over Sunnyside Christian in the State 1B playoffs. Sage Elder got the ball for 23 carries for 231 yards and a touchdown for the Titans, while Justin Faber threw for four touchdowns for Sunnyside Christian.
In the last minute of regulation, Sunnyside Christian had the ball on the two-yard line on a fourth-and-one play, only to have Odessa-Harrington shut them down and force a turnover on downs. The Titans ran the ball on four straight plays, forcing a fourth-and-one with 11 second left, but got the first down to win the game for Odessa-Harrington.
With this victory, Odessa-Harrington advances to the State 1B championship match against Neah Bay.
