Last night a jamboree was held with (1A) Stevenson, (1A) Goldendale, Lyle/Wishram, and host Klickitat. Lyle/Wishram beat Stevenson something like 28-6, and then disposed of Klickitat by about the same score. (Goldendale beat Stevenson by about 4 and also Klickitat by 12 or 14). Lyle/Wishram is 10 or 11 players deep. Coach Myers could start any of the 10 and nobody could argue with it. This is a team that will be the closest in many (!!) years to compete with Sunnyside Christian. If Myers can get a couple of them to play 'team' ball a little more then the CRG could bring home a couple trophies this year.
