Final at the Bay NB 42 Crescent 22
NB held the dynamic reigning NOL MVP to 5pts. It was a pretty tough shooting night for both teams. NB got most of their points off their pressing & swarming defense. If this is a sign of what the NOL is gonna be like the Red Devils will breeze through league. Good job Red Devils!

I really expected the pt spread to have been much greater, like 80's to 40's - really amazed that the score was as close at 20. I thought Drexler was the NOL MVP for last season. The loggers only have a couple of kids that can take care of the ball along with a few big kids who couldn't hit the Pacific Ocean with a basketball while standing in it. However, they will play much better at home

No Drexler was not the MVP, Crescent has produced the past 2 NOL MVPs in Joel Williams last year & the Anderson kid the year before. The Williams kid is a good player but needs a lot of help if they want to go deep into post season. You are absolutely right about the big guys not being able to hit the ocean. I really thought Crescent could have played with NB this year but obviously I was wrong, either Crescent has dropped off a ton from last years team or is the league weaker then last year us included. It was a horrendous night of shooting for both teams that's for sure, plenty of open look air balls & missed ducks.
