rednblack, did the little pt guard Sage Fadness for Crescent play Monday night? Didn't see his name, he usually scores around 10 pts/game. Looks like Leyton is taking over for Drexler, what grade is Leyton in ? Any more Doherty's ? The Red Devils will be very difficult to beat, so athletic and quick.

Yes Sage did play but he had a very difficult time getting the ball up the court & you throw in the Devils pressing D can make it difficult finding shots if your not custom to it. Leyton is a junior, he don't quite have the abilities of Drex as far as shooting goes but he has knack for slashing to the hoop and seems to always be around the ball & is a big time hustler on the defensive end of things. He definitely is a joy to watch. There is only one more Doherty left & most say he is gonna break all big brother's records. He is in the 7th grade & is a south paw like the ol man. He has pretty much the similar game of Drex & what he brought to the floor. I can't wait for him to put on that Red Devil uniform.

Things are looking good in Red Devil Land with another Doherty on the team...but not so good for other teams. Then when will Drexler's kids get into the mix ?
Also, what about Peppard and Sowders, the two big 6'4" guys, did they play for Crescent ? Couple of big bodies but not really basketball talent.

I also have a daughter that's in 9th grade but she decided at the last minute that she didn't want to play bball. She is not a bad ball player either I was totally hummed out when she said she didn't wanna play. She is gonna be my track star, I'm hoping I can get a 100m or 200m state title out of her. That's the kind of potential she has. Drexler's daughter will be 2 next month & his son will be one in April so there is gonna be a pretty good gap where your not gonna hear the Doherty name or see it in the paper.
Crescent did have a couple big boys that did play, one was decent but the other had no clue about anything on the court.
